Minimal Machine Requirements for Office 365. Make Outlook 2007 and 2010 work with Office 365.

Even though Office 365 has come a really long way from its beginning, I continue to meet customers who want to keep using their old versions of Office suites or Windows OS Machines. I continue to educate them how Office 365 is about new features built in-the-cloud and boosts the
'user productivity' in many great ways, which obviously need you to evolve. You got to switch to the 'Click to Run' fashion Office suite (included in all Office 365 plan featuring Office ProPlus) which brings an always up-to-date Office 2016 on your Windows or Mac.

Long story short, I may tell them all the good (and bad), but sometimes they have invested a nice amount of money purchasing the volume licenses of Office 2010 or even 2007 which they just want to keep using for another two months or years. The Office 365 migration should not give them nightmares of outlook not connecting to EXO or not being stable and what not. For 'those' customers, I recommend installing these updates on your devices to make them office 365 ready for the most basic services like Email, Skype for business or even SharePoint.

The piece of information makes sense for customers who do NOT want to invest in upgrading the Office applications or OS's. Update the machines with below mentioned updates and see if you are in luck.
